The Championship

A full field will consist of 100 playing in a two-round stroke-play qualifier on Monday, May 7, and Tuesday, May 8, to determine the 30 players and ties who will be in the money, of which the low 16 will advance to the match play portion of the tournament. In case of a tie for 30th place, purse money for the respective positions will be split. In case of a tie for 16th place, a sudden-death playoff will commence immediately following play on Tuesday. Those eliminated from this sudden-death playoff will be considered to have finished in a tie for 17th place and will receive a check for that place finish. In match play, all matches will consist of 18 holes. In case of a tied match at the end of 18 holes, extra holes will be contested at sudden-death.

In case fewer than 100 players enter the championship, the format, purse, and number of qualifiers will be adjusted accordingly.
